Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WaYantra (“WaYantra”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your information when you use wayantra.com and the WaYantra application. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, business name, email address, phone number and password when you register.
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
- WhatsApp & messaging data — contacts, conversations, templates and media you manage through the platform, processed via the official WhatsApp Business (Meta) Cloud API.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser type, pages visited and cookies, used to operate and improve the service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, maintain and improve the WaYantra platform.
- To process subscriptions, payments and invoices.
- To send service, security and transactional communications.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and WhatsApp/Meta platform policies.
3. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. When you make a payment, your card/bank details are collected and processed directly by Razorpay under their own privacy and security terms. We receive only limited information such as payment status and a transaction reference.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers we rely on to run WaYantra — including Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform), Razorpay (payments) and Cloudflare (infrastructure and media storage).
- Legal and regulatory authorities where required by applicable law or to protect our rights.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After account closure we retain data only as required to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences (such as theme), and limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use role-based access control, rotating authentication tokens and industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Children’s privacy
WaYantra is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
